I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear "Him"
jay @ 08:20
2For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
3Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Luke 12:2-5.

If Jesus stated that we should fear God, need we speculate whether should do so? Afterall, If Jesus is the Son of God should He not know whom we should fear?
The 3rd Angel's Message reads:
6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
Revelation 14:6-8
This will be the final test for all mankind who now ridicules, belittles, refuses God's clear instruction to obey Him only; Opposed to obeying men, and doctrines of men. We are to fear God, if we are to worship Him; Moses was reminded to remove his shoes for the ground on which he stood was holy because God was there. God is a holy being and only obedient people will be able to abide in His presence.
You can believe He is love, endless mercy; but, also jelaous. He demands complete obedience to His word!
You can not worship God if you don't fear Him.
